THE BUDGET OF THE PRESIDENCY
By virtue of the resolution of the Council of Ministers of June 23, 2009 r. no. 113/2009, a long-term programme entitled "Preparation for and holding of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2011" was adopted.
The programme aims at providing financing for the years 2010–2012, which includes the preparation for and holding of the Presidency of the Council of the EU by Poland in the second half of 2011.
Total expenditure for the programme in the years 2010–2012 will amount to 429.4 million PLN, with 104.2 million PLN in 2010, 299.6 million PLN in 2011 and 25.6 million PLN in 2012.
POLISH PRESIDENCY BUSINESS PARTNERS
Having learned from the experience of previous Presidencies, we have developed a system of cooperation with our business partners who have committed themselves to supporting the organization and promotion of this historic event. The Polish Presidency has 6 business partners, chosen by open and transparent public tender:

Peugeot Polska Sp. z o.o.will provide, free of charge, 117 cars for the purposes of the most important Presidency-related meetings held in Poland. These include:

Coca-Cola Poland Services Sp. z o.o. has donated over 100,000 litres of Kropla Beskidu water and other beverages for the most important meetings of the Presidency in Poland, as well as stylish containers promoting waste sorting in conference facilities. PKN Orlen SA has donated 150 TANKBANK pre-paid fuel cards with a total value of 1 million PLN. The cards entitle its users to free refuelling of Presidency vehicles during the most important events taking place in Poland in the second half of 2011. www.orlen.pl |

Microsoft Sp. z o.o. Poland has provided 400 licences for Windows 7 ULTIMATE operating system and 400 licences for MS Office Professional 2010 office suite. www.microsoft.pl |

A member of the TP Group, Contact Center Sp. z o.o., the company has given more than 100 mobile phones with active SIM cards on Orange, and 40 sets consisting of notebooks, modems, and active SIM cards which enable the organisers of Presidency meetings to use Mobile Web on Orange. As an addition, the company has provided access to Orange Hotspots for foreign representatives in Gdańsk, Wrocław, Cracow, Poznań, and Warsaw. www.orange.pl |
