Management of water resources in agriculture

The meeting will be attended by representatives of European Union institutions, member states, international organisations and national experts on the management of water resources in agriculture.
The aim of the meeting is to discuss issues concerning the development, use and protection of water resources in rural areas, including the issue of water retention in fields concerning issues such as prevention of flooding and drought. Within the project, conclusions will be drawn up serving to develop the position of the Polish government on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy after 2013, in particular concerning the priorities for further development concerning management of water resources in agriculture and EU support under the new European Union Financial Perspective 2014-2010.
